I almost forgot, don't forget to occasionally check out the slideshows online at http://www.semesteratsea.org/current-voyage/overview/watch-slideshows.php. So far there is one for when we left Halifax, there is one for Spain, and there is one for Italy. I am in quite a few pictures in the one from Italy. When you watch you'll hear them say something about Herculaneum and also be sure to listen because some of the voices are of people that I hang out with sometimes. The guy who talks about Herculaneum I just met yesterday actually...it was sort of funny because I was sitting in one of the lounges reading some Hume. I kept getting confused about what he was saying and announced it to my roommate that I was going to give up reading it. At which time this guy stood up and said, ah, don't give up yet. Hume is awesome, all you need to do is have someone act it out for you (Hume wrote this book in the form of a dialogue). So, he took my book from me and immediately started acting it out and when the lines got too long, he would summarize it for me...I think it's the part of the book I now understand the best. Oh well. It was really funny though. Everyone in the lounge kept laughing because he kept doing dramatic gestures. After he read about a page and a half we realized he was reading the wrong part and he then read a page and a half of the correct part. It was a lot of fun. Now I am going to go to bed. Have a good night!
